This privacy notice, provided under Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), explains how we process the personal data you send us through the table reservation, workshop and event reservation, and contact forms on the oliverestaurant.com website. Information on general use of the website is set out in our Privacy Policy.
1. Data controller
The data controller is YAŞMAK TURİZM VE TİCARET A.Ş. (MERSİS No. 0940 0013 2950 0014; Hocapaşa Mahallesi, Ebusuud Caddesi No:12, Fatih/İstanbul, Türkiye). You can reach us at info@oliverestaurant.com or +90 212 528 13 47.
2. Forms and the personal data we process
- Table reservation form: name and surname, telephone number, email address, reservation date and time, number of guests and any notes you add.
- Workshop and event reservation form: name and surname, telephone number, email address, the workshop or event you select and its date, number of guests and your message.
- Contact form: name and surname, telephone number, email address, the subject you select, your message and the page from which you sent the form.
- All forms: the language of the form, the date and time of submission, and, for security verification, your IP address and browser and device information.
Please do not include health information, allergies or other sensitive personal data in the notes and message fields unless it is necessary for your request. If such information is needed to provide a service safely, it will be handled under the applicable legal conditions. If you make a request on behalf of other people, please share only the information necessary for the request and inform them about this notice.
3. Purposes of processing
- To receive, assess, check availability for, confirm and manage your reservation and information requests;
- To send you a confirmation email that your request has been received and, where needed, to get back to you by telephone, email or WhatsApp;
- To provide the service you request and meet your special requests;
- To protect the forms against automated submissions, spam and misuse;
- To fulfil our legal obligations and protect our rights in the event of a dispute.
4. Legal grounds
We process form data on the following legal grounds under the KVKK: the necessity of processing for establishing or performing a contract (Article 5(2)(c)) to handle your request and set up your reservation; our legitimate interests, provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed (Article 5(2)(f)), to keep the forms secure and prevent misuse; compliance with legal obligations (Article 5(2)(ç)); and establishing, exercising or protecting a right (Article 5(2)(e)) in the event of a dispute.
Submitting a form does not mean that you consent to receiving commercial electronic messages. Such messages are sent only if you separately give consent under our Communication and Marketing Consent.
5. Method of collection
Your personal data is collected electronically and directly from you when you fill in and submit a form; technical data such as your IP address and browser information is collected automatically during security verification.
6. Recipients and international transfers
- The contents of the form are sent by email to our restaurant team so that your request can be handled, and the confirmation email sent to you is delivered the same way. Emails are sent through Google’s email service (Gmail).
- Google reCAPTCHA is used to secure the forms; for this purpose your IP address, browser information and on-page interaction data are transmitted to Google.
- Where necessary, your data may be shared, strictly for the purposes above, with our hosting, communications, security, accounting and legal service providers, with authorized Olive and Yaşmak personnel who need access to perform their duties, and with legally authorized public authorities.
Because of Google services, your data may be processed outside Türkiye. Any international transfer is assessed under Article 9 of the KVKK and carried out only when an applicable transfer condition and safeguard is in place.
7. Retention
We keep form data for the period required by your request and the related service, applicable statutory obligations, and the establishment or defence of legal claims. At the end of that period, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with our retention and disposal rules.
