This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on the oliverestaurant.com website, what they are used for and how you can manage your choices. The data controller is YAŞMAK TURİZM VE TİCARET A.Ş.; contact details and general information on how we process your personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. The browser’s local storage (localStorage) may be used for the same purpose. In this policy, “cookies” also covers these similar technologies unless stated otherwise.
2. Types of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary cookies: Required for the website to run securely, to show pages in the language you selected, to protect our forms against abuse and to remember your cookie choices. Consent is not requested for these cookies and they cannot be switched off in the cookie panel; if you block them in your browser settings, some parts of the website (such as the forms) may not work. We use them to operate and secure the website on the basis of Articles 5(2)(c) and 5(2)(f) of the KVKK.
- Analytics cookies: Help us understand how the website is used and improve our pages. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. Analytics cookies run only if you give consent in the cookie panel, on the basis of your explicit consent (KVKK Article 5(1)).
- Functional cookies: May be used to remember your preferences and offer a more personal experience. We do not currently use any cookies in this category.
- Marketing / advertising cookies: Used to show advertising tailored to your interests. We do not currently use any marketing or advertising cookies.
If we start using a new cookie or provider in the future, we will not run non-essential ones without your consent, and we will update this policy.

Durations are the providers’ default settings; you can delete cookies from your browser earlier.
4. Google Analytics and Consent Mode
Our Google Analytics tag works with Google’s Consent Mode. Unless you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics does not write cookies to your browser or read existing ones. In that case, limited technical signals that contain no cookies or persistent identifiers (such as the page visited, time information, browser type and connection information derived from the IP address) may be sent to Google. If you give consent, the analytics cookies listed above are used.
5. Third-party resources and embedded content
Some resources are loaded from third-party servers for the website’s design and operation: fonts from Google Fonts, the date picker in the reservation form from jsDelivr, and the reCAPTCHA script for form security from Google. When your browser connects to these servers, your IP address and browser information are technically transmitted to the relevant provider.
Our contact page includes an embedded Google Maps view showing the restaurant’s location. When the map loads, Google may set cookies on its own domain and process your IP address and browser information; these cookies and this processing are governed by Google’s privacy policy. Services such as social media and TripAdvisor are only linked, and they do not set cookies until you click the link.
6. Managing your choices
On your first visit, you can choose “Accept All”, “Reject All” or “Manage Preferences” in the cookie panel. You can change your choices or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the cookie icon in the bottom corner of the screen. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. In that case, some parts of the website may not work as expected.
7. Consent records
When you save your choice, your randomly generated consent ID, the cookie categories you selected, the type of action, the date and time, the current policy version, your IP address with its last segment masked, and your browser information are recorded on our server so that your choice can be demonstrated. We process these records on the basis of Articles 5(2)(ç) and 5(2)(e) of the KVKK and keep them for the period set out in our retention and disposal rules.
8. International transfers
Because of services provided by Google (Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA, Google Maps and Google Fonts) and jsDelivr, some data may be processed outside Türkiye. Any international transfer is assessed under Article 9 of the KVKK and carried out only when an applicable transfer condition and safeguard is in place.
9. Your rights
You can find your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK and how to apply in our Privacy Policy.
We may update this policy when the technologies we use or applicable rules change. The current version will be published on this page.
